Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon at the P. C. Freytag home in Reynolds for Mrs. Margaret Clark whose death occurred at her home in Sherrard at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29. Rev. Norman Rostron of the Reynolds Methodist church will officiate and interment will be in the Reynolds cemetery. W. J. McEntire, L. C. Davis, Thomas Curtis, Frank Keim, Elzy Minteer and S. D. Wait will act as pallbearers.

Mrs. Clark was born June 10, 1849, in Ireland and came with her parents to the United States when only six months old. On Aug. 17, 1879, she was married to Eldridge Clark who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1929. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Clark lived in Reynolds and many of the dwelling houses in the village and community were erected by "El" Clark and his sons, contractors and carpenters.

For several years before Mr. Clark's death, the home had been made in Sherrard and there it was that Mrs. Clark past away. She had been ill for four months following a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Episcopal church.

Three sons preceded their mother in death and she is survived by one son, Frank of Rock Island, two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Miller of Bowling and Mrs. Maud Peterson of Rock Island, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
