"Wife of Enoch Wright, daughter of tobacco planter family in Franklin County, Virginia...married there Oct 3, 1808; daughter of Abraham Abshire. In 1811-12; removed to Preble County, Ohio; in 1831 they left Ohio and settled in a wilderness area of Elkhart County, Indiana that would, in 1836, become New Paris, Indiana".
