SPRINGDALE - Anna Marie Parker, a resident of Springdale, Ark., was born April 26, 1921, in Kingston, Ark., a daughter of Jack and Stella (Gurley) Moore. She departed this life Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, in Springdale, at the age of 90 years.

Anna attended the Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Ash of Rogers, Ark., and Sharon and husband Jim Wilson of Springdale, Ark.; three granddaughters, Brenda Melton of Pineville, Mo., Brandy Dyer of Gore, Okla., and Melissa Elrod of Springdale, Ark.; three great-granddaughters, Amber Melton McCool of Pineville, Mo., Cora Elrod and Laila Elrod, both of Springdale, Ark.; one great-grandson, Jax Dyer of Gore, Okla.; two brothers, Fred Moore of Oologah, Okla., and Claud Moore of Scotts City, Mo.; one sister, Jean Phillips of Monett, Mo.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

On Nov. 19, 1941, Anna was united in marriage with Clay Parker, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, Jack and Stella Moore, and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Fred Moore and Pastor Stacey Villines officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
