Funeral services for Arnold Birtis Caskey, age 88, were held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 1992 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel Arcadia with the Rev. Jessie Smith and Rev Bill Hoffman officiating. Burial was held in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Caskey died in Arcadia on Sunday, November 29, 1992. He was a lifelong resident of Bienville, a deacon in the First Baptist Church in Bienville and a 50 year member of the Masonic lodge. He retired from L & NW Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Laura Caskey; and his wife, Helen Jones Caskey.

Mr. Caskey is survived by two sons, Arnold Ray Caskey of Gibsland, LA. and Billy Wayne and wife, Mattie Caskey of Bienville, La.; two daughters, Gertrude Hennigan of Coushatta, La. and Elaine and husband Ray Gaudet of Arcadia, La.; three sisters, Irene Dare of Castor, La., Lena Baliff of Metarie, La. and Lillian Hennigan of Pass Christian, Ms.; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Wayne Caskey, Charles King, Steve King, Phillip Volentine, Neal Latiolais, Carey Babin, Harold Myrick and Tommy Myrick.

Contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church in Bienville.
