James O. Caskey, aged 38 years, ended his life...at his home in West Monroe, at 7 o'clock last night.

Caskey, who is owner of several thousand acres of valuable land in Bienville parish, had several months ago, decided to move to West Monroe and establish a large dairy. He purchased land and prepared for removal. The first of three houses he had been erecting in West Monroe was completed last month, and there Caskey and his wife and two children removed two weeks ago.

Both parents of Caskey are living. They are Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Caskey of Bienville, well known and respected pioneer residents of their community. Besides these he leaves his wife and two small daughters. These are: Rook, aged 7 years, and Ezell, aged 5 years.

Other members of the family in Bienville parish are [his brothers] Leroy, D. E., Willie, Floyd, Ira, Carl, Burtis, and Lawson Caskey and John Caskey, who is in the United States Army. His sisters, all of Bienville parish, are: Mrs. Annie May Lowe, Mrs. Laura Lee Henigin, Mrs. Lena Balif, Mrs. Irene Marks, and Miss Lillian Caskey.

The body is to be sent, by Peters Undertaking company, on an Illinois Central train today to Bienville parish where the funeral and burial will take place.
