Robert L. Ball, 102, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on August 20, 2011. He was born on December 5, 1908.

Robert was a member of Garfield Christian Church, and Southport Lodge No. 270, F. & A. M.

He worked for Real Silk in Indianapolis and, at one time, owned his own grocery store.

Robert is survived by his son, Morris R. Ball; daughter, Mary Lou Chaszar; six grandchildren, Matthew R., and Rachel R. Ball, Robert S. Chaszar (deceased), Rebecca L., Brenda J., and Brian S. Chaszar; 11 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by wives, Lucille V. Ball, and Anna Ball.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 24 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 East Washington Street.
Arrangements have been entrusted to G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home.
