Mrs. Alta Ball
Mrs. Alta J. Ball, 82, of 658 Tabor Street, died Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Lenawee County Medical Care Facility where she had been transferrd last week from Bixby Hospital after being hospilitized for some time.
Mrs. Ball was born July 26, 1889 in Lewisville, Ind., She had been a resident of Indianapolis prior to moving to Adrian to make her home for the last 20 years.
She was married to Ezekiel Ball in Lewisville May 1, 1907. He preceded her in death in 1948.
Mrs. Ball is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sara) Mc Nichil of the Tabot Street address. and Mrs. Evelyn Abbott of Los Angeles. Also surviving are three sons, Franklin, Robert and Norman of Indianapolis.
The body was removed today from the Braun Funeral Home to the Shirley Brothers Funeral Home in Indianapolis, where services will be conducted Wendesday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
