Callie Nichols, 91, of Olney, died at 3:55 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 1998, at Burgin Manor.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Ted Kemp officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, east of Olney. Visitation will be from 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Nichols was born Oct. 29, 1906, in Olney, the daughter of Elza and Dora (Deverick) Ingram. She married Albert Nichols in 1946, in Charleston. He preceded her in death May 27, 1988.

Before she married, she worked at the International Shoe Factory in Olney. During WWII, she was an airplane mechanic at George Field. Later she was beautician and co-owner and operator of the Duchess Beauty Shop in Olney. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Olney.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Margaret "Margo" Bieri, of Olney, Edgar Correll, of Aurora, Melford Furry, of Glendale, Ariz., Bob Correll, of Flat Rock, and Kevin Parker, of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and five sisters.
