Mrs. Cleta Lee of Charleston Dies

Charleston, Ill. – Mrs. Cleta Lee, 52, the wife of Elmer Lee, died this morning at the family home five miles southwest of Charleston.  She had been in ill health for several years, but her condition became serious only about three weeks ago.

Funeral services will be Friday, at 2 p.m. from the Christian church in Charleston.  Burial will be in Mound cemetery.

She was born July 16, 1899 in Hutton Township, a daughter of Elza and Dora Deverick Ingram.  She married Fred Furry on Nov. 27, 1920.  He died Dec. 25, 1944, and she married Elmer Lee at Vincennes, Ind., in Dec., 1947.

Survivors, in addition to the widower, include the mother, now living in Olney; three sons, James Furry of Cleveland, Ga., Herman Furry of Charleston and Melford Furry, with the U.S. Army at Shreveport, La., and four sisters.
