B. Jackson "B.J." Malone, 53, Sheffield, died Saturday, March 16, 1996. The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Burial in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery, Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, directing.

He was a native of Franklin County, was retired from Norfolk-Southern Railway where he was a conductor for 27 years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5184, Elks Lodge No. 1375,American Legion Post No. 0027, and a member of the Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Malone, father, Brady Malone, sister, Martha Beard and brother, Audrey Malone.

Survivors include, daughters,Denise Mitchell, Russellville, Karen Clark, Phil Campbell; brothers, James W. "Buddy" Malone, Russellville, Hershel Malone, Highland, Ind., Ossie Malone, Roger Malone, Leon Malone, all of Russellville; sisters, Mrs. William Fisher, Leighton, Mrs. Richard Elder, Nashville, Mrs. Bobby Glenn, Russellville, Mrs. Norris Moore, Russellville; grandchildren,Mike Mitchell, Kelly Mitchell, Brandy Clark; Lauren Clark; a host of nieces and nephews.
