Ossie Clay Malone, 59, of Russellville, Ala., died Friday, May 21, 2004, at his home. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2004, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Bethleham Cemetery. Brother Matt Hall will officiate.

He lived in this area all of his life. Served four years in the service. He was employed by Gold Kist.

He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brady Malone.

Survivors include son, Michael Malone and wife, Paula, of Russellville; daughter, Paula Hodge and husband, Quentin, of Tuscumbia, Ala.; grandchildren, Tyler and Trevor Malone; mother of Michael and Paula, Fayrene Malone; brothers, Buddy Malone, of Russellville, Hershel Malone, of Indiana, Roger Malone, of Russellville, Leon Malone, of Russellville; sisters Frances Fisher, Catherine Pounders and Fay Glenn, all of Russellville; special friend, Lynda Mauldin, of Haleyville; several nieces and nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Adams, Jody Beard, Harold Foster, Daryl Foster, Bradley Malone and Stephen Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler and Trevor Malone.
