Mrs. Charles Douglas Dies of Pneumonia.

Mrs. Charles Douglas, aged 45, died at her home in Birmingham on Tuesday of this week after a protracted siege of pneumonia. Mrs. Douglas was formerly a resident of LaFayette, being remembered as Miss Hattie Mae Heard, a sister of Mrs. John H. Boyd, of this city, and Mrs. J. L. Hadaway, of Cusseta.
Funeral service will be held at the home of the deceased today and the body will be shipped to LaFayette for burial tomorrow, reaching Opelika about 12 o'clock when Robinson & Cutler, local undertakers, will take charge. Burial will take place at one o'clock in the LaFayette Cemetery.
Surviving the deceased are her husband, Chas. Douglas, and three step-children; three sisters, Mrs. John H. Boyd, of LaFayette; Mrs. J. L. Hadaway of Cusseta, and Mrs. Dan Proctor, of South Carolina; three brothers, Will Heard, of LaFayette; Turner and Wade Heard, of Birmingham, besides a wealth of friends and relatives in Chambers County and Birmingham.
