OBITUARY:
Ashley, Paul E., age 74, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 1996 at his home. He was a retired builder and contractor and a member of Buffalo Trail Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Pearl Ashley; daughter Joyce Frost of Cheasepeake, Va; sons, Jay Ashley and Eddie Ashley, of Morristown; 8 grandsons and a very dear friend, Jo Nell Haynie; sister, Georgia Mae Seay of Thomasville, NC; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Rosa Ashley of Greeneville, Norman and Iona Ashley of Rockford, Ill., Marie Ashley of Wheeling, Ill., Mildred Ashley of Morristown, Irene Ashley of Jefferson County, and L.G. and Dorothy Ashley of Escondido, CA. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 9. 1996 at Westside Chapel with the Rev. Benny Keck and Dr. Kenyn Cureton officiating. Interment will be in the Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Westside Chapel with a Masonic sevice to follow by Kyle Lodge No. 422. Westside Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
