Jack C. Ashley, a former resident of Belvidere, died Thursday at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Mr. Ashley, a retired tool and die maker, was born in Tennessee and was currently living in Buffalo Grove. He is survived by his wife, Marie (McConnaughhay) Ashley; four daughters, Cheryl Hammond, Rhonda Ashley, Theresa Kingsley, and Diana Moss; one son, Bernard Ashley; six brothers, Norman, Paul, Tom, Fred, John, and L.G.; one sister, Georgia Seay; and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gluecket Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.Entombment will be in Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Arlington Heights. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Hope Lutheran Church, 1660 RFD, Long Grove, Illinois
