Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - January 27, 2007 Deceased Name: Clara Ardean Anderson 1930 ~ 2007. Clara Ardean Anderson, 76, passed away at her home January 25, 2007. Born on Feb. 5, 1930 in Heber City, UT the daughter of Lionel Dean and Adeline "Ardell" (Buhler) Clyde. She married Albert Arvin Anderson on August 20, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS church and held many callings including Ward Historian, Relief Society President, Stake MIA President, and activity director of the Woodland Ward and Kamas Stake, she also participated in Primary, MIA and church choir. She was always willing and available for those in need with a special interest for the elderly. She loved her ranch home in the mountains and reflected her feelings in her book "The Hills of Home". She loved poetry, painting, writing, and music. She was also very talented in knitting, sewing, quilting, crafting, floral arts, and canning.

She is survived by her husband, Arvin, Woodland, UT; Sons Jeff (Laurie) Anderson, Woodland Hills, UT; Rob Anderson, South Portland, ME and Roy (Mary Ellen) Anderson, Baker City, OR; a brother Russell Kay (Betsy) Clyde, Johnstown, PA. Also six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Edward and Roy, and three sisters, Glenna, Barbara, and Shirley. Funeral service will be on Monday, Jan. 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Woodland LDS Ward Chapel Friends may call at the church on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 and on Monday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be 1:00 p.m. in the Heber City Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
