Mrs. Hazel G. Abbott, 74, widow of Vernon Abbott, of White Stone, died September 1, 1994.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris Bury of Chesterfield, Ina Edwards of Mechanicsville and Mary Haydon of White Ston; two sons, Harry Vermilyea of Hopewell and Phillip Abbott of White Stone; 15 grandchildren;19 great grandchildren;on great great grandchild; three sisters; Dorothy Harcum of Weems, Edna Fink of Maryland, and Eldree Criswell of Oklahoma; and three brothers, Branton Lee of Wicomico Church and George Lee and Ben Lee, Sr., both of White Stone.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems, by the Rev. David Joe Jones, with interment in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerald Abbott, Herbert Blake, Bill Kellum, Joe Kellum, Broaddus Blake and Jeff Gillespie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
