Forrest Arney, 55, of 2016 Jessie Avenue, a yard conductor for the Nickel Palce the last 36 years, was dead on arrival at Parkview Memorial Hospital at 5 p.m. yesterday.
Surviving are his wife, Hanna; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Heath, San Diego, Calif; and Mrs. Robert Fleckensteinof this city; a son, Tim Arney at home; the mother, Mrs. W. A. Arney of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Velma McKeeman, Mrs. Ruth Adams of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Fred Chapman of Battle Creek, Mich.; seven brothers, Harry of Dowagiac, Mich., Al of Chicago, Ed of Battle Creeks, Mich., Richard, Robert, William and Daniel Arney, all of this city; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services at 1 p.m. at the C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, Rev. D. Charles Elson officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
