William J. "Bill" Arney, 84, died Saturday, September 01, 2007 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne and was an journeyman electrician with IBEW Local #305 for 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was a W. W. II U.S.M.C. veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Josephine I. Arney of Fort Wayne; sons, John R. Arney of Oregon, David W. (Martha) Arney of St. Joe, MI; daughters, JoAnn M. (Thomas) Vernon of Bloomington, IN, Patie D. (Bruce) Davenport of Hudson, IN; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Ruth Adams of Fort Wayne. Preceded in death by a grandson, 7 brothers & 2 sisters.
Services were entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
