Mrs. Charles T. Anderson, 80, Rushford, died at Preston Nursing Home Thursday at 12:30 p.m. following a long illness.
The former Jonette Olstad, she was born Oct. 23, 1883 near Preston to Christian and Marie Olstad. She was a lifetime resident of Fillmore County. She was married March 17, 1909, to Charles T. Anderson at Rushford. She was a graduate of Rushford High School and had taught school several years in the Highland area. She was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
Survivors are: Two sons, Norman, Preston, and Ernest, Los Angeles, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Mabel) Nicolai, La Crosse; Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) McKay, Canton, and Mrs. Leslie (Helen) Spear, Elk River; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Olstad, Jamestown, N.D., and Gynther Olstad, Rushford, and two sisters, Miss Andrine Olstad, Sarasota, Fla., and Miss Emma Jean Olstad, Rushford.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Rushford Lutheran Church, the Rev. M. E. Foehringer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Jensen Funeral Home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Monday after noon.
