Mabel A. Nicolai, 78, of 3505 Park Lane Drive, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1989, in Lutheran Hospital-La Crosse. She was born Oct. 13, 1910, in Rushford, Minn., to Charles and Jonette (Olsted) Anderson. She married Harvey E. Nicolai in Cresco, Iowa, on Aug. 19, 1939. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Lester of Bangor and Reuben of La Crosse; two sisters, Charlotte McKay of Rochester, Minn., and Helen Driessig of Elk River Minn.; two brothers, Norman Anderson of Harmony, Minn., and Ernest Anderson of Pico Rivera, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in First Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Roger Sachs will officiate. Burial will be in Rushford Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rushford, Minn. Friends may call at Dickinsn Funeral Homes' Jackson Street.
