Funeral services for Otto Fred Henry Klosterhoff, 65, of Rosenberg were held December 15 at 2 p.m. at St. John's E & R Church in Rosenberg.

Mr. Klosterhoff died at his home on the Lamar High Campus Saturday evening of a heart attack. Other than having suffered a light heart attack at an earlier date, he had not been ill.

His parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Klosterhoff, came to Fort Bend County from Illinois during his early years. He attended school in Illinois and the Lutheran Parochial School.

They preceded him in death as did his wife, Mrs. Emma Klosterhoff, in 1937. They were the parents of the six surviving daughters, Mrs. George Thielemann of Sealy, Mrs. Gilbert Koeppen of Rosenberg, Mrs. Toni Dannhaus of Needville, Mrs. Burley Gill, Jr. of Anahuac, and Mrs. Leonard Sebesta of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Frank Nescavits. Thirteen grandchildren, a great-grandchild, one brother, Theodore Klosterhoff of Rosenberg, and three sisters, Mrs. P. H. Schmersahl of Rosenberg, Mrs. E. O. Muiller of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Mrs. Fred Ostendorf of Venedy, Illinois, also survive.

His second wife, Mrs. Matilda Dugas Klosterhoff, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Klosterhoff was maintenance engineer of Lamar Consolidated School System since 1949. He joined the system as school bus driver in 1939.

Pallbearers were Herbert Kroeshe, Ladd Dobrava, James L. Boone, Henry Schmersahl, Willie Miller, Walter Schulze, and Fred Rosenbaum. Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery with Rev. Frank Nagy officiating.
