Funeral services for Tonnie Johanna Dannhaus of Needville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the Garmany & Carden Chapel in Needville, with the Rev. George Kuebler officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Rosenberg. Serving as pall bearers will be Kenneth Dannhaus, Loren Dannhaus, Wade Dannhaus, Art Dannhaus, David Dannhaus and James Sebesta. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, School Street in Needville.

She was born in the Cottonwood Community Feb. 1, 1916, and she passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998 at Polly Ryon Skilled Care Center in Richmond. She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville.

She is survived by her sisters, Alma Niscavits of Lake Jackson, Helen Gill and her husband, Burley, of Clear Lake, Emma Lee Sebesta and her husband, Leonard, of Rosenberg; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth "Butch" and Dianna Dannhaus of Guy; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Dannhaus of West Columbia; six grandchildren, James Dannhaus and his wife, Diann, David Dannhaus and his wife, Dianne, Elizabeth Tomlinson and her husband, Steve, all of Angleton, Loren Dannhaus and his wife, Shannon, of Fairchilds, Wade Dannhaus and his wife, Shelly, of Midland, Kimberlie Kolojaco of Guy; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her patents, Otto and Emma Klosterhoff; sisters, Nora Koeppen and Paulline Theileman; a son, Gene Arthur Dannhaus; and a great-granddaughter, Chelsy Tomlinson.
