Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Church of St. Joseph, Mandan, with the Rev. Leonard Eckroth officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Rice.
Anna was born March 21, 1908, in St. Johan, Austria. She came to the United States with her parents, John and Theresa (Balkowitsch)
Rebenitsch, May 10, 1910. She was raised in the Fort Rice area and attended schools there.
On April 20, 1938, she married John Bendish in Fort Rice.
Anna was a member of Homemakers Club in Huff, St. Anne's Altar Society of Huff, and Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold and Sharon, and Richard and Mary, all of Fort Rice; four daughters and sons-in-law, Agnes and Harley Jennings, Washburn, Gladys and Alton
Bauer, Herreid, S.D., Carol and Donald Hatzenbuhler, Solen, and Rita and Gordon Cermak, Beulah; 25 grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Evelyn, Green Bay, Wis., and Leonard and Lucy, Fort Rice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother was killed in a tornado on the same day Anna died in 1953 -- May 29 at Fort Rice; her
husband; four brothers, John, Paul, Joseph and Carl; and three sisters, Theresa, Kate and Agnes.
