Louis Everette Crane, 76, of Salisbury, died Wednesday at a nursing home near Lebanon after an illness of over a year's duration. He was born June 19, 1884 in Miller County to Jerry and Catherine Jarrett Crane.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Iva Mae Crane; three daughters, Mrs. Maud Allee, Eldon, Mrs. Mabel Bachmann, Santa Monica, CA, and Mrs. Corinne Young, St. Joseph; two sons, Emmette Crane, Phoenix, AZ and Orville Karr, Iberia; two brothers, Homer Crane, Etterville, and Lonnie Crane, St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Bond, Olean, and Mrs. Elmer Sloan Tuscumbia; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Fairview Church near Iberia with the Rev. Mark Sooter Officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
