Mrs. Ruby D. Banks Died Thursday
Ruby Bacon Banks,89, died Thursday at Candler General in Savannah after a long illness.
The Tattnall County native was a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Maggie Durrence of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Maridean Burton of Glennville, Mrs. Linda Waters of Savannah and Mrs. Deloris Harlow of Waycross; four sons, Larry, Ed, and Ned Banks all of Glennville and Revis Banks of Savannah; a sister, Mrs. Mildred DeChenaux of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a brother, Pratt bacon of Glenville, sixteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Breads Creek Primitive Church, burial was in the church cemetery.
Rimes Mortuary was in charge.
