Mrs. Eliza Ann McCully of Callao died at noon yesterday at the Samaritan Memorial Hospital here at the age of 97 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Callao Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Harold Dunson, and burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery. The body is at the Edwards Funeral Home in Callao, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. McCully was born Dec. 1, 1872 in Macon County, the daughter of George and Lucinda Ellis Allen. She had spent her entire life in the Callao Community, where she was a member of the Christian Church.
She was married Dec. 24, 1899 to Millard McCully, who died in 1935. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, five brothers and one grandchild.
Surviving are: Three sons, Herchel of Tipton, Ia., Omer of Moline, Ill., and Cecil of Callao; two daughters, Mrs. Bert (Mabel) Trafton of Wilton Junction, Ia., and Mrs. Louis (Florence) Schultz of Muscatine, Ia.; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Sunderland of Callao and Mrs. Ella Dixon of New Cambria; several nieces and nepehws and other relatives.
