Eliza Mae was born too late to be enumerated in the Census of 1880. She was married September 13, 1896 in Milam County. Therefore, she was not enumerated with her parents in the Census of 1900. She was enumerated in the Census of 1900 with her spouse L.D. (Luther David) Moseley and their son, William Baird Moseley (born July 28, 1903 in Milam County, Texas). In the Census of 1900, they were living in Precinct 5 (East Part), Milam County, Texas. Mae apparently died between 1903 and 1905. Records show that L.D. Moseley remarried on November 19, 1905 in San Gabriel, Milam County, Texas to Nettie Dunham. This marriage establishes that Mae had died by 1905. Mae is probably buried in an unmarked grave in Locklin Cemetery.

Fri., July 15, 1904

Mrs. May Moseley died July 10, 1904 at San Gabriel at 12:30 Saturday night of consumption. She was born Oct. 13, 1880 and was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Baird and was married to Luther Mosely in Sept. 1896. She had lived in San Gabriel during her life and had been ill for 9-months. Her last words were, "I am weary and tired I want to rest." Services were held at the church by Bro. Lincoln and burial was in the Locklin cemetery. She leaves a husband and sweet little baby.

Note by Joe W. Tippit Sr.
That baby boy would be William Baird Moseley.
