Nezzie Vinson Fallin, 89, of Meigs, died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Unihealth at Magnolia Manor South. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., today, July 30, at Enon Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Eason officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Todd Fallin, Allen Blount, Chad Fallin, Tommy V. Fallin Jr., Duane Fallin and Zack Fallin.
Born Feb. 10, 1922, in Meigs, she was the daughter of the late E.B. Vinson and Arkansas Barwick Vinson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Estere VanBuren Fallin Jr.; and one daughter, Elayne Fallin Blount.
Survivors include five sons, Vinson E. Fallin and wife Joyce of Leesburg, Ga., Francis H. Fallin and Donald H. Fallin and wife Debbie, all of Moultrie, Lindsey Fallin and Tommy V. Fallin and wife Rebecca, all of Colquitt County; one sister, Edna Vinson Burgess of Colquitt County; 11 grandchildren, Todd Fallin, Chad Fallin, Allen Blount, Kevin Blount, Tanya Classon, Deborah Jackson, Tommy V. Fallin Jr., Duane Fallin, Elizabeth Fallin, Kancey Key and Zack Fallin; and 14 great-grandchildren.
