Betty Jane Bennett, 83, of Dunbar passed away July 28, 2011, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Sissonville.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a 40-year member of Northside Church of the Nazarene.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bennett; son, Ronnie Bennett; parents, Wallace and Maude Rader; brother, Jack Rader; and sisters,Virginia "Ginny" Frazier & Juanita " Neeta" Eagan, Find a Grave 48358368

Surviving Betty are son, John Stephen Bennett and wife Kim of Newburgh, Ind.; daughters, Nancy Tucker of Columbus, Ohio, and Sandy Hart and husband, J.J., of Charleston; grandchildren, Angel Hill, Ashley Wiggins, Ryan McShanog, Tyler Bennett, Stephen Bennett, Michael Tucker, Rhonda McMullens, April Thornton, Jamie Bennett, Missy Bennett, Anita Parsons, Donald Bennett and Karen Moody; daughter-in-law, Gail Bennett; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Northside Church of the Nazarene, North Charleston, with the Rev. Jerry Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at the church.

Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home is serving the Bennett family.
