Thelma Brown, 79, a retired homemaker, died Friday, May 18, 2001, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Thelma Brown was born Oct. 16, 1921, in Waco.

Survivors: Sons, Marvin Brown of Fort Worth, Norman Brown of Jacksonville, Bill Brown of Fort Worth, Jerry Brown of Cleburne; daughter, Dora Pryor of Fort Worth; sister, Margarete Young; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Greenwood Funeral Home 3100 White Settlement Road.
