Norman William "Shorty" Brown, 78, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his home in Jacksboro, Texas.
Norman was born April 19, 1941 in Moody, Texas to William Arthur "Bill" and Thelma Marie (Scott) Brown. He married Patricia Doyline (Conway) in July 6,1985 in Tarrant County, Texas. Norman proudly served our country in the United States Army. After serving in the Army he became a truck driver and lived in Jacksboro, Texas. He was a truck driver for 25 years and was always loved by his customers. He was also a member of the First Nazarene and Christian Mission Churches.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jerry Brown, Billy Brown, and Dora Pryor; son, Rusty William "Rocky" Brown; grandsons, Michael Hill Brown and Jon Jon Hill; granddaughter, Savannah Culver; and great-granddaughter, Baby Grace.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife; daughters, Norma and Larry Pollard of Venus, Debbie and Wayne Hill of Alvarado, and Tammy Brown of Venus; brother, Marvin Lee Brown of Fort Worth; step children, Angela and Lynn Hampton of Burleson and James Badgwell of Jacksboro; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
