Billy Gene Brown, 69, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at a Dallas hospital after a short illness. Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Billy was preceded in death by his father, William A. Brown; mother, Thelma Marie; and a brother, Jerry Don. Survivors: Son, Roger G. Brown and wife, Brittney; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Ava; brothers, Norman W. Brown and wife, Pat, of Jacksboro and Marvin L. Brown of Fort Worth; sister, Dora Pryor and husband, Joe, of Everman; and many nieces and nephews and friends.
