Ervin Jackson Easler, 89, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2005 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, South Carolina, after a brief illness.
Born in Spartanburg County, Wednesday, February 23, 1916, he was the son of the late Pinkney Ashmore Easler (1886-1965) and Oddie (Poteat) Easler (1883-1976).
He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by two daughters, Rachel Davis (John) and Jancie Garner; one son, Jack Easler; three sisters, Sarah Davis, Edna Mosley, Kate Gwinn. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Johnny Davis, Gene Waldrop, Michael Waldrop, and Matthew Garner.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Peggy (Easler) Waldrop (1937-1994); five sisters, Myra Chapman, Louise Condrey, Annie Grace Ballenger, Margaret Gambrell, Ida Mae Brown; two brothers, Marvin Easler, Watson Easler; and one grandchild, Ernest Davis
Funeral services were held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, South Carolina, Wednesday, December 28, 2005, with Rev. Jack Hames and Rev. Mark Williams officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
