She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bloomsburg, where she was a member of the Women's Association and the Circle One. She was also a member of the Friendship Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, #17 of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Foote enjoyed gardening, canning, and crafts. She had lived at her current address in Scenic Knolls for the past 47 years.
