Mrs. Foote had been employed by the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. and Detroit during World War II. She later worked for National Geographic, also in Washington, D.C. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bloomsburg, where she was a member of the Women's Association and the Circle One. She was also a member of the Friendship Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, #17 of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Foote enjoyed gardening, canning, and crafts. She had lived at her current address in Scenic Knolls for the past 47 years.
