He leaves to mourn his loss a father, mother, two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Carl Koch of Seward; Gladys Wolfe, of Utica and Ray Wolfe, who is in the service of his country, at Camp Lee, Virginia, and who was unable to be present at the funeral. Also many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the home north of Eden, Monday, November 18, 1918, conducted by Bert L. Story of the M. E. Church of Seward. Interment was at the North Cemetery at Seward, Nebraska.
