Casper - Services for Merle A. Koch, 84, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bustard Funeral home. Mrs. Koch died suddenly at her home Friday. She was born June 27, 1895, at Ulysses, Neb. She was reared on farms in the Seward, Neb., area. On Feb. 12, 1913, she married Carl C. Koch in Seward. They moved to Casper in 1920 where Mr. Koch worked in construction. He was the business agent for the Labor[er]s and Hod Carriers Union at the time of his death in 1946. Mrs Koch had worked for several years at Memorial Hospital and belonged to the VFW auxiliary. She is survived by one son, Gerald Koch; two daughters, Thelma Taylor and Dorothy Carson, all of Casper; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
