Mrs. Rosella Wolfe, 95, died April 19 in Seward. Her funeral was held April 22 at the Wood Brothers Chapel with Rev. Raymond Neutzman officiating. Burial was in Seward Cemetery. Mrs. Wolfe is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Merle Koch, Casper, Wyo., nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Four children preceded her in death. Rosetta Wolfe was born Dec. 21, 1876, in Swan Creek, Ill., the daughter of William and Ann Rick,immigrants from England. The family moved to York when she was a child, and later came to Seward. She married Edwin Wolfe in Garrison, Nebr., Feb. 28, 1892. They lived in Ulysses and later farmed in Seward County. They also operated a filling station near Garland. Wolfe died in 1939. For the past nine years Mrs. Wolfe had lived in the Goldsmith Home. She was a member of the former E. U. B. Church, the United Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors.
