CARL ABERLE
FAIRBURY - The funeral for Carl O. Aberle, 79, a retired farmer who died Saturday, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday ay Fairbury Apostolic Christian Church.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at Culkin Funeral Home, Forrest. He will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
He was born March 12, 1892 at Durlach, Germany, a son son of Jacob and Elizabeth Sauder Aberle. He married Lydia Baer, Feb. 29, 1926 at Fairbury.
Surviving are his wife, five sons, Elmer, Fairbury; William, Chatsworth; Reuben, Barrington; Harold, Thawville; and Exra, with the Air Force in Japan; five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Culkin and Mrs. Ann Maurer, both of Forrest; Mrs. Rose Huetie, Hudson; Miss Lois, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; and Mrs. Lewis Byrd, Roanoke; a sister, Miss Rose, in Germany' 24 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to Pontiac special education classes.
