FORT WORTH -- Robert Karlton Massey, 69, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.

Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Karl's family requests donations be made to Hospice House, James L. West Center, 1111 Summit Ave., Fort Worth 76102.

He was a retired concrete finisher, a Korean War veteran and a 32nd-degree Mason.

Karl enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He also owned Karl's Bait and Tackle in Granbury. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Karl was preceded in death by sisters, Fay and Bonnie Massey; and parents, Benny and Ruby Massey.

Survivors: Wife, Linda of Fort Worth; children, Lisa and husband, Billy Ejem of Granbury, Ricky Massey of Lewisville, Rudy and Tina Bowling of Fort Worth, Chris and Nicole Bowling of Burleson, Russ and Carolyn Heise of Springtown, Scott Heise of Weatherford, Linda and Jim Marsh of Granbury and Barry Bingham of Brady; brothers, Ronnie and Glenda Massey of Weatherford, A.C. and Janet of North Richland Hills, Franklin Massey of San Angelo; sisters, Irene and Sammy Shearman of Azle, Lanora Mundt of Wichita Falls, Edna Mills, Nita Joy Peterson and Dorothy Jean Floyd, all of San Angelo; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
