LaVern Massey, 73, a nurse, passed away Monday, March 28, 2005 at Granbury.
Funeral services were Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Holly Hills Memorial Park.
She had been a LVN for 50 years and a nurse at Granbury Hospital for over 20 years. She owned Karl’s Bait & Tackle in Granbury.
She loved spending time with her family and friends and going to the Senior Center and Senior Circle. She also enjoyed, reading and puzzle books.


Survivors are son, Barry Bingham of Brady; daughters, Linda Marsh and husband, Jim and Lisa Ejem and husband, Billy, all of Granbury; sister, Pauline Yates of Dallas; grandson, Bo Ejem of Sundown; two granddaughters, Shawn Birdett and husband, Michael of Ft. Worth and LeAndra McKinney and husband, Matthew of Granbury; two great-grandchildren, Oz Birdett and Cynthia McKinney; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Granbury Senior Citizens Center.
Martin’s Funeral Home of Granbury was in charge of funeral arrangements.
