FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS HULDA ANNIS BILLINGS
were held Sunday at the Wilkinson funeral home with the Rev. E, B. Calvin in charge. Burial was in Englewood cemetery. Pallbearers at the service included Wilbur Vogel, Virgil Foster, Doyle Peelor, Kenneth Anderson, Lynn Howell and Loyd Mundav "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Face to Face" were sung by Mr. and Mrs. 0. H. llulmes. Mrs, Hulmcs was organist. Mrs. Billings died August 4, following a cerebral hemorrhage. Until her death, her family represented five generations. Mrs. Billings was sixty-nine years old and had lived in Henry County since she was eight. Her life was spent in caring for her family and indulging in her hobby of raising flowers. Mrs. Billings was born February 2, 1881 at Marshfield, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Douglas. She attended school in Urich and at the age of seventeen was married to Aaron C. Billings. They had two sons, Chester E. Billings of Kansas City and Oren Forest Billings, Sunrise addition. She was a member of the Urich Methodist Church, where she affiliated in 1900. Survivors include her husband, Aaron C. Billings; her mother, Mrs. Mary Douglas; two brothers, William C Douglas and Allen H Douglas, both of Urich. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. S. C. Crews, Coal, and; Mrs. Noah Redford, Urich; three grandchildren, Mrs. Patricia Jean Marlman of Kansas City and Nancy Ann Billings and Robert Forest Billings, Clinton; and one great-grandchild, Melanie Ann Marlman of Kansas City.
