I have an odd fascination with cemeteries, always have had. When I visit a new town, the cemetery is the first place I look for, it can tell the whole history of the town. Plus, it tells you the main families in the town when it began. I love researching the people and seeing how they made a living and how they died. Every now and then, I find the coolest stone and the best story on some of these people. You usually don't know by looking at a stone that someone was a doctor, a minister, or that they found their life so overwhelming that they took their own life. I hope that in some small way, the pictures and found information that we add as volunteers, helps keep history intact and ever evolving.
