Ben Sweatt of this city was killed at Vinita, I. T. Tuesday in attempting to get on a train he fell under the cars and was killed, his body being cut up terribly. Ben or "Butler" as he was called here, was a well known figure in Humboldt, having lived here for many years. He was a son of Mrs Rachel Sweat. He was of powerful build, young and of splendid health but death came to him in an instant. The body was brought here for burial and the funeral services were held Wednesday. The aged mother of this young man has the sympathy of many friends in her affliction.
