Dave Berman, 64, of 1330 Maryland, died at 7:15 a.m. today in a local hospital after a short illness.
Berman, manager of Parker Laundry on Corpus Christi Beach, moved here 25 years ago from New York.
He was Army veteran of World Wars I and II and was a member of Bnai Israel Synagogue and was a past Master Lodge of Talco.
Berman was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Azlafar Temple Shrine of San Antonio.
He is survived by his wife Bessie; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Lockett of Longview, Mrs. Corrine McKinney of Warren, Ark., Mrs. Mildred Hodges of Jacksboro, and Mrs. Vivian Danielson of Springvalley, Wis.; a brother, Harry Berman of New York City; 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel with Rabbi Erwin Halpern officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park after Masonic services there by Corpus Christi Masonic Lodge 189. AF&AM
