Funeral services for Ethel Lockett, 63, of Jefferson, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, in Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Gregory A. Megill officiating. Burial will be in the Lockett Cemetery.
Mrs. Lockett died the evening of Friday, September 30, 1983, at Marion County Hospital in Jefferson, Texas after a short illness.
She was born June 11, 1920, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, the daughter of David Berman and Dorothy Lillian Fulfer.
She had lived in Jefferson 15 years, moving from Longview, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Faith.
Survivors include her husband, Quentin R. Lockett of Jefferson; a son Clay David Lockett of Palestine, Texas; three daughters, Sherry Lynn Kubala of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Margaret Helen Robison of Jefferson and Clara Delores Closkey of Marshall, Texas; three sisters, Vivian Danielson of Spring Valley Wisconsin, Correne McKinney of Warren, Arkansas and Mildred Hodges of Jacksboro, Texas; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Lockett's nephews and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Williams, Lugo Dreesen, Bondise Dreesen, William Dreesen, Dr. Michael Weber and Dr. W.S. Terry
