Mildred Bernice Berman Hodges passed away in Graham August 8, 2023. A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 18th at the McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born January 19, 1924, in Mineral Wells, Texas to Dave and Dorothy Fulfer Berman. She graduated from Arp High School in Arp, Texas in 1941. Mildred married Pete Hodges December 15, 1942, in Graham. They were married 46 years when Pete passed away March 7, 1989. During their marriage Mildred worked as a secretary in the family business, Hodges Well Service in Jacksboro, for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Runaway Bay, Texas, as well as a member of the Kraz-Z Quilters in Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, her husband, two daughters: Sharon James of Jacksboro and Grace McConnell of Runaway Bay, and a grandson Earl.
She is survived by 4 grandchildren, Tara, Ryan, James and Krystle; several great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
