ALMA -- James Edward Allbritton, 60, died June 12 at Appling Convalescent Center. The lifelong resident of Bacon County graduated from Georgia Academy for the Blind.
Survivors include three sons, Chad Allbritton of Douglas, Matt Allbritton of Chickamauga and Brad Allbritton of Alma, two stepsons, Randy Waters of Nashville, TN, and Andy Andrews of Baxley, a brother, Gene Allbritton of Griffin, five sisters, Marilyn Anderson of Brunswick, Lillie Crews of Orlando, FL, Aline Goodbread of Yulee, FL, Pauline Turner of Alma and Helen Vickers of Nicholls, and several nieces and nephews.
