Aline Lois Goodbread, age 85, of Yulee, FL died early Monday morning April 14, 2014 at Appling Health Care after an extended illness. She was a native of Pierce County but had lived in Yulee since 1968. She was daughter of the late Levy Albritton and Ada Swain Albritton and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Hyers, Dannie Carter and Anthony C. Goodbread, a daughter, Beth Hyers, 4 sons, Bobby, Willie, Ronald and Malcom Hyers, 2 brothers, Eugene and James Albritton, 2 sons-in-law, Larry Taylor and Bobby Sears, a daughter-in-law, Gladys Hyers. Aline attended Black Rock Baptist Church in Yulee.

Survivors include a son, Danny E. Hyers, Sr. (Susie) of Yulee, six daughters, Sherry Taylor, Linda Johnson (Bill), Latrell Trogdon (Bob) all of Alma, Jan Kicklighter (Paul) of Brunswick, Sandy Wilder (Ronnie) of Fernandina, Debbie Malone (Henry) of Yulee, four sisters, Pauline Turner of Alma, Lillie Crews of Orlando, Helen Vickers of Nicholls, Marilyn Anderson of Brunswick, 28 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren, 3 daughters-in-law, Mary Evelyn Hyers, Florence Rigby of Alma and Jean Hyers of Fernandina Beach, FL.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Michael McClintock officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday between 12 noon and 2:00 P M.

Active pallbearers will be Bradley Taylor, D J Hyers, Bobby Hugh Sears, Brent Johnson, Bruce Wilder, Matthew Malone and Shane Kicklighter. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
