Jameson Rites Set Thursday

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church for Mrs. D.B. Jameson, 47, who died at 4 p.m. Tuesday in her home, west of city. Dr. E.Douglas Carver will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home.

Born in Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Jameson moved to Pampa in 1923 from Spokane, Wash., and attended high school here in 1923-24. She has worked for J.C. Penney Company, C.R. Anthony and the Fabric Mart. She married Mr. Jameson Oct. 4, 1924.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Nancy, a student at Denton; one son, D.B. Jameson Jr., of Austin; three brothers, R.H. Gilliland of Oklahoma City, Paul Gilliland of Spokane, Wash., and R.E. Gilliland of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Rusk of Amarillo and Mrs. Margarite Gunn of Spokane, Wash; and an uncle, H.A. Gilliland of Pampa.

Pallbearers will be Rufe Jordan, Al Prigmore, Ed Anderson Floyd Yeager, Johnny Vollmert and Charlie Duenkel.
