WHEELER - Doris Ann Rusk, 88, died Friday, June 27, 1997.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle, in Amarillo.
Mrs. Rusk was born in Colville, Wash. She had been a resident of Wheeler for 17 years, moving from Amarillo, where she had lived for 60 years. She was a music teacher and a homemaker. She was a member of the Texas Music Teachers Association and First Christian Church in Amarillo.
She married Paul Clifton Rusk in 1926 at Pampa. He died in 1967.
She was preceded in death by a son, Norman Brent Rusk, in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Brian Rusk of Amarillo; a brother, Richard Gilliland of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
